There is very limited parking down by the Community so you are been asked to use the public cark parks.
Anyone coming from the Mitchelstown, Mallow side, immeadiatly after crossing the bridge, turn left and approxiatemly 200 metres down the quay, there is a car park on the left hand side over a small bridge.
Anyone coming from the Cork side, when you get to the traffic lights, turn right and carry along Emmett street for about 250 metres to the Loreto Convent and turn left down Kevin Barrys hill and the car park is on your right. Both car parks are only less than a 5 minute walk to the Community Centre.

As you are coming over the bridge, if you look to your right you will see the Community Centre.
Registration will be taken here. The Start and Finish line is just outside the door of the Community Centre.

The race will start at 7.30 pm. The first mile will see the runners crossing the Square and travelling down around the Old Mart and then travelling back towards the Square heading up the Cork Road.

After about a 1.5 miles, the athletes will take a right turn and head through Dun Eala.

Just after passing the 2 mile mark, the Athletes will take a left turn up Barry's Boreen and head through the Housing Estates of Forest Glen. The Walkers will continue on straight at this point and straight onto Duntaheen Road.
Extreme Caution is advised when leaving Forest Glen as you are coming on to Duntaheen road at a bend.

The Last Mile will see the Athletes travel along Duntaheen Road and when they come to the lights, they will turn left and straight back to the Square where they will make two left turns and back down the Quay to the finish line by the Community Centre.
